The sunshine burst through my curtains having a fine silver a light on my wall laying in bed I stretch and wiped the tired from my blue eyes .The morning light dropped sparkles of dust that danced like fairies about my head and kissed the light soft brown eyelashes.Slowly a smile on my face,Easter it's Easter at last came a tiny voice . I looked across from me my husband said .Shes up early ' Karen was the first one to beat everyone up even her brother which is two years younger then her .Then with a big smile she runs up stairs leans over and with a soft spoken voice says come on Mike its Easter lets go find our baskets.I slid from bed to see what they were up to .And with their eyes closed tight wishing a small wish she swung the door open and there in her room by her dresser was her basket filled with rainbow surprises ,Mike would run into his room looked and found his basket under his bed with a biggest smile he would look at his sister and said, oh look Karen a big Easter Bunny. It was a moment WE would never forget. Getting them all dressed for church, Karen in her pretty pink and white dress I made for her with pretty pink ribbons and bows all tied up in her hair, with little patten leather new shoes she looked like a little princess out of a story book. And Mike with his Blond hair and soft hazel eyes with a fresh white shirt and dark blue pants I made for him .and his buster brown new shoes.Stood there wore a big smile that would drew around his face. They were so happy, After church we would get together with their cousins Sandy and Sharon and they hunted for their Easter eggs that they colored the night before doing their fine art work.It was fun watching them , They would come up to us and say this is for you daddy it has your name on it. And Karen would say and this ones for you mommy it says mommy on it. Soon Mike would come up to his dad and he would show him his four eggs he found , and his dad would say there's more for you to find Mike and Mike would look up to him and say nonchalant but I can only eat just four. Now these are the memories I cherish And when Eric our youngest came along we did the same with him. Now that they are all grown up and have kids of their own We instill in them to do the same thing and they do . Guess what? We made memories with our grandchildren . but I don't have the time just now to tell you all about those eight grandchildren lol But you make memories too with your children so you can look back and enjoy them . Have a blessed Day .
